Read the charging document and the judgment as different records
An accusation and a final outcome are not interchangeable
The Clay County Criminal Division page explains that a charging document lists the accusations against the defendant and that a judgment and sentence is sent to the Criminal Division after the court acts. If the task is to prove conviction, dismissal or sentence, retrieve the judgment/disposition rather than quoting only the charge.

In-person route
The Criminal Division describes an in-person request with valid identification for an eligible requester.
Fax route
For a closed-record fax request, the Criminal Division lists a legible ID plus requested documents, full name, DOB, last four SSN digits, pertinent information, destination/contact details and a notarized signature.
Before sending sensitive identifiers, confirm that the request is actually for a closed record
